Can I ask for my child's data to be deleted?

Yes — as your child's parent or guardian you can request deletion of their personal data at any time, and Pinnacle will act on it. Some records may be retained briefly where law or clinical-safety requires, but we always explain what is kept, why and for how long. You can also withdraw consent for future use at any point.

Can I delete my child's data at Pinnacle? — Ask Pinnacle, the Child Development Kośa

You trusted us with your child's information — and yes, you stay in control of it.

In short

Yes. As your child's parent or guardian, you can ask us to delete your child's personal data at any time, and we will act on that request. Some records may be retained briefly where law or a genuine clinical-safety reason requires it, but we will always explain exactly what is kept, why, and for how long. You never lose your right to ask.

What this means in practice

Your child's developmental data — assessment details, session notes, progress records — belongs to your family's story, and you have a say over it. When you make a deletion request, here is how it works:
  • Ask us directly. Speak to your centre or write to our privacy team; a verbal request at the centre is enough to begin.
  • We confirm who you are. A quick check that you're the parent or legal guardian protects your child from anyone else accessing their records.
  • We act, and we explain. We delete what we can and tell you plainly if any record must be kept — for example, a minimum clinical record some health regulations require us to retain for a set period.
  • Withdrawing consent is always allowed. You can stop us using your child's data going forward, separately from deletion of past records.

Pinnacle holds developmental information under careful governance as a CDSCO Class B SaMD organisation — data is protected, access is controlled, and your choices are honoured.

The Pinnacle way

A clinical AbilityScore® and any diagnosis are formed only at a Pinnacle Blooms Network centre, under qualified clinician care — never from an app, an online form, or data we hold in storage. Your control over your child's information sits alongside that same standard of care across our 70+ centres, guided by what the AbilityScore® actually measures and how your family's therapy journey is supported.

Trusted sources

What to watch

Keep a note of the date you make any deletion or consent-withdrawal request, and ask for written confirmation of what was actioned.

Try this at home

You don't need a formal letter to begin — a verbal request at your centre is enough to start the process; our team will guide the rest.

Frequently asked

Who can request deletion of my child's data?

A parent or legal guardian can make the request. We carry out a quick identity check to confirm you are authorised — this protects your child's records from anyone who shouldn't access them.

Will everything be deleted immediately?

We delete what we can promptly. Occasionally a minimum clinical record must be kept for a set period where law or a genuine safety reason requires it — and we will always tell you exactly what is retained, why, and for how long.

Can I withdraw consent without deleting past records?

Yes. Withdrawing consent stops us using your child's data going forward, and you can do this separately from asking us to delete records we already hold.

How do I make the request?

Speak to your Pinnacle centre or write to our privacy team. A verbal request at the centre is enough to begin, and we'll guide you through the rest.
