Pinnacle SEVA™ · Social Equity in Valuable Access

When cost is a barrier, start with a conversation.

You want your child to communicate, take part and grow toward a self-sufficient, mainstream-included life. If paying for developmental support feels difficult, speak with us about the options currently available for your family.

SEVA is our programme for helping families explore access to developmental therapy support. Our published programme materials describe a subsidised-access model with dignity at its centre.

Ask the team to confirm present eligibility, any fees and the right centre before travelling. An enquiry does not confirm a subsidy or appointment.

Illustrative Pinnacle family journey: a family and professional understand the child, choose goals, practise together and review progress.
Your child’s life gives the work its direction.

Access with dignity

A financial question deserves a respectful answer.

SEVA stands for Social Equity in Valuable Access. Its purpose is to help reduce financial barriers to developmental therapy. We want families to be able to discuss support without losing sight of the child’s capabilities, choices and everyday life.

Our 2025 Global Research Whitebook, section 5, describes this access model. Current arrangements need an individual conversation; earlier published criteria are not an automatic entitlement today.

Make the first step useful

Three things to clarify together.

  1. Your family’s priorities

Tell us what matters in your child’s day—asking for help, getting dressed, playing or joining in at school—and what makes access difficult.

  2. The support available

Ask about current eligibility, documents, participating centres, costs and appointment availability. Get a clear answer before deciding or travelling.

  3. The next step you choose

Discuss a suitable professional conversation and how the plan will be reviewed. Keep the agreed services, fees and support terms clear.

Keep these questions beside you when you call.

  • What support is currently available for our situation?
  • Which centre and professional would be suitable?
  • What eligibility information or documents are required?
  • What would we pay, for which services, and for how long?
  • How will we review the plan and any support arrangement?

You can organise observations privately with our free one-page planning sheet.

The purpose stays your child’s life

Access opens the door. A meaningful plan gives the work direction.

Once the next step is agreed, the child’s self-sufficient, mainstream-included life remains the purpose. That purpose shapes what to understand, the goals, the people and methods involved, practice at home and school, and what to review.

For example, being able to ask for help at home or in class may bring communication support, everyday practice and family or teacher observations together. The right contributions depend on your child; SEVA is an access programme, not a separate clinical treatment or a fixed therapy package.

Clear answers

Before you call

What is Pinnacle SEVA?

SEVA means Social Equity in Valuable Access. It is Pinnacle Blooms Network’s programme for helping families explore developmental therapy support when cost is a barrier. Published programme materials describe a subsidised-access model centred on dignity.

Is free or subsidised therapy available to my family now?

Call 9100 181 181 to ask about current support. The team must confirm eligibility, documents, participating locations, any fees and appointment availability for your situation. Reading this page or making an enquiry does not confirm a subsidy or a place.

Does SEVA replace assessment or my child’s therapy plan?

No. SEVA concerns access to support. The professional assessment and child-specific plan determine suitable goals, therapies, everyday practice and review. Financial-support eligibility and clinical decisions are separate.
