How long is my child's information stored?
Your child's information is kept only as long as it supports their care and as long as Indian law requires, then securely deleted or anonymised — never sold. You can access or request deletion at any time, subject to legal retention windows. Pinnacle handles data to infrastructure-grade, CDSCO Class B SaMD standards.
You've trusted us with something precious — your child's developmental information — and you deserve to know exactly how long we keep it and why.
In short
Your child's information is stored only for as long as it serves your child's care and as long as the law requires — not indefinitely, and never for sale. While your family is engaged with us, records are retained to track progress and guide therapy; once they are no longer needed for care or legal record-keeping, they are securely deleted or anonymised. You can ask about, access, or request deletion of your child's data at any time. How retention works
Think of it in three simple layers:- Active care: While your child is enrolled and progressing through their journey, clinical records, assessments and session notes are kept so your therapy team can measure change and adjust the plan.
- Legal record-keeping: After active care ends, certain health records are retained for a defined period to meet Indian record-keeping and regulatory obligations — this is standard for any responsible healthcare provider.
- After that: Information is securely deleted or fully anonymised so it can no longer identify your child.
As a CDSCO-registered Class B Software as a Medical Device operating across 70+ centres, our data handling is built to infrastructure-grade standards. You retain rights over your child's information throughout — including the right to request a copy or ask us to delete it, subject to those legal retention windows.

Frequently asked
Is my child's information ever sold or shared for marketing?
No. Your child's information is never sold. It is used to support your child's care, and any sharing happens only with your consent or where required by law — never for commercial marketing.
Can I ask to see or delete my child's records?
Yes. You can request a copy of your child's information or ask us to delete it at any time. Some records must be retained for a defined period to meet Indian healthcare record-keeping rules, and we'll explain clearly which apply.
What happens to the data after my child stops therapy?
Once active care ends, records are kept only for the legally required retention period, after which they are securely deleted or fully anonymised so they can no longer identify your child.
