Is my child's AbilityScore data kept private? — Ask Pinnacle, the Child Development Kośa

The moment you trust us with your child's developmental picture, that trust becomes our first responsibility.

In short

Yes — your child's AbilityScore® data is kept private and treated as confidential health information. It is held securely, accessed only by the qualified clinicians and care team directly involved in your child's journey, and never sold. Pinnacle Blooms Network operates as a CDSCO-registered Class B Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), which means data handling follows medical-grade safeguards, and you remain in control of consent throughout.

How your child's data is protected

  • Confidential by default. Your child's assessment results, profile and progress records are treated as sensitive health data, not marketing material — they are never sold or traded.
  • Access on a need-to-know basis. Only the clinicians and therapists directly supporting your child, plus essential support staff under confidentiality obligations, can view their records.
  • Secure storage. Information is held within protected systems with access controls, in keeping with our standing as a regulated medical-device provider.
  • You stay in control. Assessment and care proceed with your informed consent, and you can ask what is held about your child and how it is used.
  • Used to help your child. Your child's identifiable data exists to track their progress and guide their plan — not to identify your family in any public way.

You can always ask your centre's team to walk you through exactly what is recorded and who can see it. A good privacy conversation is part of good care, not separate from it.

The Pinnacle way

A clinical AbilityScore® — and any diagnosis — is established only at a Pinnacle Blooms Network centre, by qualified clinicians, never from an online form or an app. That same clinician governance extends to your child's data: it is gathered to serve their development and protected as the confidential health record it is. Across [70+ centres in 4 states](/), our role is to be a trustworthy custodian of your family's journey. Learn what the number itself means in how the AbilityScore is calculated, and see where it begins when you book an assessment.

Next step — Have a privacy question before you begin? Book an assessment and our team will explain exactly how your child's data is kept safe.

This is general information, not a diagnosis — a clinical AbilityScore® and any diagnosis are formed only at a Pinnacle Blooms Network centre under qualified clinician care.

Try this at home

Before your first visit, it's perfectly fine to ask the centre team: what will you record, who can see it, and how is my consent handled? A clear answer is a sign of good, trustworthy care.
