The evidence base, in detail

The operational foundation is substantial: 2.5 billion+ data points generated across 25 million+ therapy sessions with 4.95 lakh+ (~495,000) families served through 70+ centres across 4 states and 700+ therapists. This scale matters because it grounds the system in observed developmental trajectories and intervention patterns rather than abstraction alone.

The scientific foundation draws on established public-health and professional consensus — WHO developmental and nurturing-care guidance, CDC milestone frameworks, AAP and ASHA professional standards — paraphrased and structured so that any clinical claim traces to a recognised source. The Network's own contribution comprises 12 validated studies and 16+ WIPO PCT patents, which document the methods and reasoning approaches underpinning the system.

A word on scope for researchers: GPT-OS® is the reasoning and knowledge layer. The Network's clinician-administered AbilityScore® is a separate, CDSCO Class B SaMD instrument; GPT-OS® does not itself diagnose, score or replace clinical judgement. Evidence claims about the two should not be conflated.

How the evidence is governed

Evidence quality is maintained through provenance discipline — authority is accepted only from recognised bodies (WHO, CDC, AAP, ASHA, NICE, Cochrane, RCI, NIMHANS and the Network's own deposited research). The internal weights, formulae and item-level scoring of clinical instruments are never exposed; the assessment is described only as a clinician-administered structured measure. This separation protects both research integrity and child safety.
