SEVA™
How SEVA™ works in clinical practice
SEVA™ is the therapist-facing component that turns a child's clinical profile into structured, measurable goals, guides session delivery, and captures progress for multidisciplinary review. It is a clinical-workflow support tool, not a diagnostic device — a clinical AbilityScore® and any diagnosis are formed only at a Pinnacle Blooms Network centre under qualified clinician care.
When a child's progress hinges on consistent, well-targeted sessions, SEVA™ keeps the therapist's clinical intent visible from goal-setting to measurable gain.
In short
SEVA™ is the therapist-facing component within the Pinnacle ecosystem that translates a child's clinical profile into a structured, trackable plan of care. In practice it links assessment findings to individualised goals, guides session-by-session delivery, and captures progress data so the multidisciplinary team can review and adjust the plan. It is a clinical-workflow support tool — it does not diagnose and does not replace clinician judgement. How SEVA™ works in clinical practice
- From profile to plan — once a child has been assessed, SEVA™ helps the therapist convert that profile into prioritised, measurable goals (e.g. expressive vocabulary, joint attention, fine-motor control) framed in functional, everyday terms.
- Session structuring — it scaffolds each session around the active goals, prompting the therapist on targets, dosage and the techniques mapped to the child's plan, while leaving full clinical discretion with the practitioner.
- Progress capture — observations and outcome data are recorded at the point of care, building a longitudinal picture of trajectory rather than isolated snapshots.
- Multidisciplinary review — speech, occupational, behavioural and special-education inputs converge on one shared record, so the team reviews against the same goals and re-calibrates intensity or approach when data warrants.
- Family continuity — it supports clear handover of home-practice targets, so the work continues between sessions.
The aim is fidelity and continuity: every therapist sees the same goals, the same history and the same evidence of what is working — sustained across 70+ centres and 700+ therapists, informed by 25 million+ therapy sessions.
What it is not
SEVA™ operates as a clinical-workflow and documentation aid; it sits outside the regulated diagnostic device. It supports decisions — it does not make them. Diagnostic conclusions and the structured clinical assessment remain a clinician responsibility, undertaken in person. The Pinnacle way
A clinical AbilityScore® and any diagnosis are formed only at a Pinnacle Blooms Network centre, under qualified clinician care — never from software alone. SEVA™ helps your team operationalise that profile; learn how the structured clinician assessment is administered, explore our speech therapy pathway, or return to the [Pinnacle home](/) to see how the ecosystem fits together.Trusted sources

What to watch
Therapists should watch that recorded goals remain functional and measurable, that progress data is captured at each session, and that plans are re-calibrated at multidisciplinary review when the trajectory plateaus or diverges from expected gains.
Try this at home
Anchor every SEVA™ goal in a real-world function the family can recognise — and record one concrete observation per session, so the trajectory tells a clear story at review.

Frequently asked
Does SEVA™ diagnose children?
No. SEVA™ is a therapist-facing clinical-workflow and documentation tool. It supports goal-setting, session delivery and progress tracking, but diagnosis and the structured clinical assessment remain a clinician responsibility, undertaken in person at a Pinnacle Blooms Network centre.
How does SEVA™ support multidisciplinary working?
It brings speech, occupational, behavioural and special-education inputs onto one shared record built around the same goals, so the team reviews against common evidence and adjusts intensity or approach together.
How does SEVA™ help continuity of care?
Because the plan, history and progress data are shared, any therapist seeing the child works from the same goals and the same record — supporting consistency across sessions, therapists and centres.
