Knowing your child's strengths and needs begins with one calm, structured step — and it's simpler to access than many parents expect.
In short
You access the AbilityScore® by booking an appointment at any Pinnacle Blooms Network centre, where a qualified clinician administers it in person as part of your child's developmental assessment. It is not an app, an online quiz or a self-test — it is a clinician-led, structured evaluation that produces a clear profile of your child's abilities across developmental areas. From that profile, the team shapes a therapy plan tailored to your child.
How to access it, step by step
- Reach out — contact a Pinnacle Blooms Network centre by phone, WhatsApp or through pinnacleblooms.org to request a developmental assessment. You don't need a referral or a diagnosis to begin.
- Book your visit — you'll be guided to a centre convenient for you (70+ centres across 4 states) and given a time that suits your family.
- Meet the clinician — at the centre, a qualified clinician spends time with your child and with you, gathering history and observing development. The AbilityScore® is administered here, as a structured clinician assessment.
- Understand the profile — the clinician explains your child's strengths and areas needing support in plain language, and answers your questions.
- Begin the plan — if therapy is recommended, you'll be guided into the right pathway, such as speech therapy, and progress is reviewed over time.
There is nothing to prepare or fear. The most useful thing you can bring is your everyday knowledge of your child — how they play, communicate, move and connect.
Why it's done in person
The AbilityScore® draws its accuracy from a trained clinician observing your child directly and combining that with your insights as a parent. That human, structured judgement — informed by Pinnacle's research base of 2.5 billion+ data points and 25 million+ therapy sessions — is what makes the profile precise and the plan personal. No online form can replace seeing your child in the room.
The Pinnacle way
AbilityScore® is part of Pinnacle’s developmental assessment. Diagnosis, where needed, requires an appropriately qualified healthcare professional — never from an app or online form. Learn how the AbilityScore® is calculated, explore the centres and services near you, and see how a profile flows into support such as speech therapy.

CONNECT THE ANSWER TO YOUR CHILD’S DAY
Something to notice. Something to discuss.
What to notice
If you're noticing differences in how your child communicates, plays, moves or connects compared with peers, that's a good reason to book a developmental check — you don't need to wait for a referral or be certain something is wrong.
In everyday life
Before your visit, jot down a few everyday examples of how your child communicates, plays and reacts to new situations. Your day-to-day knowledge is one of the most valuable inputs the clinician uses.
Bring your observations and questions to your child’s professional. Choose activities that suit your child’s comfort, abilities and agreed plan.
