A useful first answer
Can I arrange physiotherapy for my child?
Call 9100 181 181 with your question and preferred location. Confirm whether physiotherapy is suitable, who would conduct the appointment, their qualifications, the format, current availability and fees before travelling.
The activity your child wants to take part in
Start with a meaningful example from your child’s actual day.
What you observe at home, in play or at school
Bring your questions and relevant reports you already have.
A clear explanation of the appropriate professional and next step
Ask what happens next, who will help and how progress will be reviewed.
A child does not automatically need every therapy. The professional and family discuss relevant support around the child’s needs and priorities.

A starting picture.
A plan with a purpose.
A child development assessment brings family priorities, professional observation and suitable measures together to understand present abilities and support needs. The aim is an explained starting picture and a useful next-step discussion—not a score on its own.
- Understand abilities
Start with strengths, everyday observations and suitable assessment. Read AbilityScore with the child’s age, context and skills.
- Plan for readiness
Discuss what you want to make possible and agree useful priorities. Readiness views support professional judgement.
- Choose relevant support
Bring in the therapies, educational support or health review that fit this child. Every child does not need every service.
- Practise in everyday life
Use manageable, guided practice in meaningful routines. Family participation connects the work with daily life.
- Track and correct
Bring relevant observations back into review. Ask what became useful, what support remains and what needs to change.
- Reassess and repeat
Compare abilities and context over time. Continue, adapt or complete support according to the child’s needs.
- Grow independence and participation
Keep self-sufficiency, learning, relationships and mainstream participation in view. Progress is individual.

Connect it with everyday life.
One child. One life. One direction.
Each therapy has a role.
Your child’s whole life gives it purpose.
A car works because every part serves the journey. A home works because every room serves the people who live there. In the same way, therapy techniques matter most when they help your child communicate, manage everyday life, learn and participate with growing independence.

Before you choose
Your questions. A clear next step.
Can I arrange physiotherapy for my child?
Call 9100 181 181 with your question and preferred location. Confirm whether physiotherapy is suitable, who would conduct the appointment, their qualifications, the format, current availability and fees before travelling.
What should I confirm before a visit?
Confirm the suitable service, professional and qualifications, preferred centre, appointment, fee and what explanation or written output is included.
Does an enquiry diagnose my child?
An enquiry, AbilityScore or PinnacleAI software record does not diagnose autism or ADHD. If a diagnostic question needs answering, ask about the appropriately qualified professional or diagnostic pathway. Developmental-support assessment and medical diagnosis have different purposes.
