TherapeuticAI®

The Evidence Base for TherapeuticAI®

TherapeuticAI® is the clinical-intelligence layer of Pinnacle Blooms Network, with an evidence base built from three strands: large-scale real-world therapy-outcomes data (2.5 billion+ data points across 25 million+ sessions and 4.95 lakh+ families), a programme of 12 validated studies, and grounding in established developmental-science consensus (WHO, AAP, ASHA). It holds CDSCO Class B SaMD status and is reflected in 16+ WIPO PCT patents. It supports clinicians and does not diagnose autonomously.

Every claim a therapy engine makes should rest on something you can examine — here is what stands beneath TherapeuticAI®.

In short

TherapeuticAI® is the clinical-intelligence layer of Pinnacle Blooms Network, and its evidence base is built from three converging strands: a large-scale real-world dataset of paediatric developmental-therapy outcomes (2.5 billion+ data points drawn from 25 million+ therapy sessions across 4.95 lakh+ families), a programme of 12 validated studies, and grounding in established developmental-science consensus from bodies such as the WHO, AAP and ASHA. It is regulated in part as CDSCO Class B Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), and its design is reflected in 16+ WIPO PCT patents. It is a clinician-support tool, not an autonomous diagnostician.

The science beneath it

For a researcher, the meaningful question is provenance, validity and transparency. TherapeuticAI® draws on three layers of evidence:

1. Real-world outcomes data. The engine is informed by longitudinal therapy-session data — 2.5 billion+ data points across 25 million+ sessions and 70+ centres in 4 states. This scale supports population-level pattern modelling and progress benchmarking, while individual clinical decisions remain clinician-led.

2. Validated studies. A programme of 12 validated studies underpins the methods behind progress measurement and the structured clinician-administered AbilityScore® assessment. These are the appropriate place to interrogate construct validity, reliability and effect sizes; we describe the assessment's mechanism only at the level of a structured, clinician-administered instrument and do not publish internal scoring formulae.

3. Consensus grounding. Constructs map onto internationally recognised developmental frameworks (WHO milestones and the Nurturing Care Framework, AAP/HealthyChildren milestone guidance, ASHA communication standards), so outputs remain interpretable against the published literature.

Regulatory standing — CDSCO Class B SaMD — means defined intended use, risk classification and quality-management obligations, which is itself part of the evidence-and-governance picture rather than a clinical efficacy claim. Researchers should treat real-world data and validated studies as complementary: scale offers external validity, studies offer internal validity.

How to appraise it

If you are evaluating TherapeuticAI® for collaboration or citation, we recommend appraising it as you would any clinical decision-support system: examine the study designs, the populations represented in the real-world data, the comparator conditions, and the boundary between algorithmic suggestion and clinician judgement. We welcome scrutiny and structured research partnership.

The Pinnacle way

A clinical AbilityScore® and any diagnosis are formed only at a Pinnacle Blooms Network centre, under qualified clinician care — never by an algorithm, an app or a form. TherapeuticAI® supports clinicians; it does not replace them. Explore [how we work](/) and our speech therapy and broader developmental services, which the platform is built to inform.

Trusted sources

WHO developmental milestone and Nurturing Care guidance; American Academy of Pediatrics and HealthyChildren developmental resources; ASHA standards on communication development; and Pinnacle's own published validated studies. Each is best consulted directly to appraise methods and applicability.

What to watch

When appraising any clinical-intelligence tool, look for transparent study designs, representative real-world data, clear comparator conditions, and an explicit boundary between algorithmic suggestion and clinician judgement.

Try this at home

Treat scale and rigour as complementary — large real-world datasets offer external validity, while validated studies offer the internal validity needed to trust a measure.

Frequently asked

Does TherapeuticAI® diagnose children?

No. TherapeuticAI® is a clinician-support tool. A clinical AbilityScore® and any diagnosis are formed only at a Pinnacle Blooms Network centre under qualified clinician care, never by an algorithm alone.

What evidence underpins TherapeuticAI®?

Three strands: large-scale real-world therapy-outcomes data (2.5 billion+ data points across 25 million+ sessions and 4.95 lakh+ families), a programme of 12 validated studies, and grounding in WHO, AAP and ASHA developmental-science consensus.

Is TherapeuticAI® regulated?

It is regulated in part as CDSCO Class B Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), which entails a defined intended use, risk classification and quality-management obligations. This is a governance standing, not an efficacy claim in itself.

Can researchers access the underlying methods?

We welcome structured research partnership and scrutiny of study designs and data governance. We do not, however, publish the internal scoring formulae of the AbilityScore®, which is described only as a structured, clinician-administered assessment.
